Nature Connects: Art With LEGO Bricks – May 9 – August 2

Featuring 14 larger-than-life-size sculptures place created with nearly 500,000 LEGO Bricks, this family-friendly exhibit draws inspiration from the living world and combines art, play and science to create an inspiring intersection of education, entertainment and the environment. New sculptures include a 5-foot tall colorful peacock, giant dragonfly, bonsai tree and more!

Hours –

April 1 to October 31: 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. with entrance gates closing at 8 p.m., November 1 to March 31: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. with entrance gates closing at 6 p.m.

Prices –

$16 per vehicle or free for members (on the first Tuesday of each month, parking is half price – $8)

  • Is there parking and what is the cost?

    The NC Arboretum offers plenty of parking for visitors. On the first Tuesday of each month, parking is half price ($8). For the rest of the month, it is $16 per personal vehicle, $50 for motorhomes/vehicles 21′ or longer, and $100 for buses. Members of The North Carolina Arboretum Society park for free.

  • What youth activities are available?

    The Arboretum offers various exhibits and educational programs for kids and families to get excited about natural history and outdoor science. They offer fun youth programs including Wee Naturalist, Citizen Science, and Scouting Programs that get kids engaged in our natural heritage and environmental awareness. Day camps are also available for youth groups of different ages under 18.
