Winter Brewery Tour

Looking for a quick getaway? Try a winter brewery tour in the mountains. Whether a diehard beer lover or simply a sampler, the Asheville beer scene offers something for everyone.

Here are just a few of our favorite spots for local brews and more in Asheville:

Biltmore Village is just minutes from the heart of downtown Asheville and home to:

Hillman Brewery – delicious burgers, fresh kale salad, and a long menu of local brews are some of our favorites at this local establishment.

Hi-Wire and Catawba both have sites in the Village, too. Many of the local restaurants serve brews on tap from these great beer makers along with many others from the region.

At our Hotel: Milepost 408 is housed in the Hampton Inn & Suites and features local brews on draft, wine, and small plates. Named after the original location for George Vanderbilt’s hunting lodge, guests will enjoy finding a place to rest after a long day of seeing the sites in our comfortable lounge with outdoor firepit!

Our three Biltmore Village properties (Hampton Inn & Suites, DoubleTree, and Residence Inn) also offer transportation to Asheville’s popular South Slope where you will discover some of the region’s best in food and drink including nationally recognized Buxton Hall BBQ!

Biltmore Park, about fifteen minutes south of Asheville hosts the Southern location of Asheville’s legendary Thirsty Monk where you will find an excellent menu of beer and delicious pub eats. Next door you can enjoy the Monk’s Flask, featuring craft cocktails and an extended wine selection.
